Return of the fog
[02-Feb-2012] The fog is back this morning. There is a little yellow oak pollen on the ground after some rain last night. One of the blueberries should bloom any day now.

2012: The year of fog
[25-Jan-2012] The fog has been really bad this month. Driving to work today it wasnt possible to see 4 blocks. It also lasts well into late morning rather than burning off just after dawn. The year Harry and Rachel got married there were a few days like this, notably the day we drove down south but this has been going on most the month now.

2012: The year spring came in January
[25-Jan-2012] Its mid January and flowers are blooming that should not be blooming till March. So far Ive seen apples, Chinese magnolias, Azaleas, redbuds and today a dogwood. Based on the weather this one will have updates as more stuff blooms out of season.

The Year the X Happened
[25-Jan-2012] Every so often there are events that span a reasonable time span that make a year stand out. Like the year we had 4 hurricanes, or that one year when we had the fires. Im going to try and record those types of events. There probably wont be many pictures, or anything like that, just notes that X seems to be happening this year that makes it stand out from other years.
